Inspired by Federico García Lorca’s collection of poems “Romancero Gitano” and Greek philosophical concepts of the self, the performance takes place in a symbolic space where five characters encounter fragments of themselves in an environment of chaos and rebirth. Through a collective creative process, the theater company attempts to convey grief – both personal and social – through stage action, combining elements of movement theater and the voices of the performers into a poetic visual language, and inviting the audience into an introspective encounter with loss, love, and self-reconstruction.
